hey friend 💌

it's been a minute.

Q1 was a heads-down season and i have a lot to catch you up on, so let's skip the "where have you been" and get into it.

in today's edition:

💸 what's been going on over at savvie
📱 new brands, content breakdowns + a coffee shop that needs our help
🧠 the ai tool that's changing how i run everything
🎁 a very important announcement (kind of)

let's go ↓

💭 savvie update

while the newsletter was on pause, @withsavvie has been putting in work.

we've been posting way more consistently — money myths breakdowns, compound interest explainers, why investing doesn't have to feel gatekept. and this past week i found a post on r/personalfinance that stopped me in my tracks and had to turn it into a carousel.

Instagram post

the vibe right now is: nobody taught us this stuff, so we're teaching each other. which is still the most accurate way to describe what savvie is. if you've been following along — thank you. if you haven't, go give us a follow!

it’s budgets without the shame spiral, wealth without the finance bro energy. more savvie content is coming to this newsletter too.

for now just know she's alive and thriving 💚

📱 content corner

what i've been working on (and what your coffee shop is doing wrong)

so the update is this: i've been creating UGC videos for some cool brands this year like Arm & Hammer, Curél, Smart & Final, and I just landed a Hasbro game app (!!!) the fact that i'm going from startup land to actual household names is crazy exciting!

on @teague.media, today i put up a carousel about what coffee shops could actually be posting to convert foot traffic ☕️

because the number of cute local shops with dead social accounts is a little heartbreaking. you have beautiful lattes and zero hooks.
help us help you.

Instagram post

i also did a post comparing how most people use AI to buying a professional kitchen and only using the microwave — which, if you felt called out, good. because that brings me to…

🧠 what i'm loving rn

tool: i've been using this claude cowork thing and it's kind of blowing my mind. not just for the regular ai assistance stuff, but i'm talking reorganizing my entire file system, first pass at briefs, pulling together campaign reports, and live market research. it's like having an operations assistant that already knows how my business works and where i store everything. more on this soon because i think it opens up a real lane for solo founders.

trend: brands hiring individual creators for one-off UGC projects instead of locking into retainers. faster, more flexible, and sometimes brands just need one really strong creative they can throw ad spend behind.

quote: "discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most." this one applies to content, money, working out, me sending this newsletter instead of watching another episode of the americans...

totally random: i got classpass again and it might be my fav purchase of 2026 so far. workout classes AND spa visits?? pilates one day, brows the next, then hot yoga?? whoever invented this, i fear i owe you my whole personality right now.

🍵 quick ad break

teague media has officially acquired naming rights to dodger stadium.

jk. but we did post that on instagram and it might be my favorite thing we've ever put on the grid.

Instagram post

real talk though we have 2 sponsors in today's issue to help keep teague talk free. if the ads catch your eye, give em a click. takes two seconds and it directly supports this newsletter (and my coffee habit). 💌

🪞 updates from HQ

booking UGC video projects and creative strategy work for Q2. if you're a brand or agency and need a creator who actually understands strategy — reply "ready" and i'll send details.

this newsletter is back. expect more consistent drops — i have a lot to share this quarter and this is where i get to go deeper than a caption allows.

📋 your move

💸 go follow @withsavvie if you haven't. the money myths carousel is a good starting point.

📱 look at your last 3 posts. did any of them have a clear CTA? if not, go fix that. even "save this for later" counts!

☕ do one nice thing for yourself this week that isn't just surviving. you’re made for more, friend!

let's have a good Q2. 💚

xo, callie 🤍

p.s. reply and tell me something good that happened to you this year so far. it’s been a minute. it’s good to be back 💌
